I purchased this as a gift for my sister who has kept a journal her entire life. This seller was a joy to work with, and the journal was shipped quickly with excellent packing and arrived 2 days before Christmas! I was looking for a handmade journal with traditional binding, which is almost impossible to find, so I was really excited when I found SLGBookbinding. The workmanship that went into the creation of this journal surpasses anything I would have expected! The binding is nice and tight, however opens easily to lie flat. From the archival quality paper, which is so important, to the linen thread and leather Goatskin cover, the attention to detail is amazing. First of all, this journal is beautiful and very well made. I love it! It is very clear that loving hands have worked on this piece. I love the design of vines, blossoms, and leaves on the cover and the hand-sewn pages.
