Interpretation

The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

For this Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy:

Company (referred to as either “the Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Vintage Farms, Joaquin, Texas.
Items refer to the items offered for sale through Vintage Farms.
Orders mean a request by you to purchase items from us.
Service refers to the Website.
Website refers to Vintage Farms, SLG-Bookbinding, and Nordic Woodworks, accessible from vintagefarms.biz.
You refer to the individual accessing or using the service or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the service, as applicable.

Order Cancellation

Vintage Farms offers you the option to cancel your order; please see the details below:

In-stock items without personalization
- Once an order has shipped, the order cannot be canceled.

In-stock items with personalization
- Once the personalization work has started, the order cannot be canceled or returned.

For bespoke products
- Work has started but is less than 50% complete – a partial refund of 50% will be issued.
- Work has started but is more than 50% complete – no refund can be issued.

Returns

We do not accept returns for any custom orders or handmade objects unless they arrive damaged (see below).

We are happy to offer returns on new items not made by hand (clearly stated as ‘not handmade’ in the description).

Items on sale are not eligible for returns.

If you are unhappy with your order, contact us within 14 days from the date you received the items, or a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, will take possession of the delivered product.

Returned items without prior agreement will not be accepted and must be returned promptly, safely, and without damage to their original packaging to give you a full refund.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

All postage costs for returns are to be met by the customer. Upon receiving your request for a refund, we will send you the return address. In addition, we can provide a return label on request.

We cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost return shipment items. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without proof of received return delivery.

We will reimburse you no later than ten business days from the day we receive the returned items, using the same payment method as the order. In addition, a 5% handling fee, plus any carriage costs if you requested a pre-paid shipping label from us, will be deducted from the credit.

Damages

Great care is taken to ensure the safe delivery of your delivery. However, in the unfortunate event of damage to your order during transit, please contact us immediately and send us descriptive photographs of package and item damage, ideally during unpacking. All damaged items must be delivered with their original packaging to our studio before we issue a full refund or a replacement. Requests for a refund or replacement due to damages incurred after the delivery are not accepted.

Gifts

If items were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’d receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If items weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, we will send the refund to the gift giver.
